The science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is considered the “gold standard” by many doctors. When applied to treatment for persons with developmental disabilities, ABA focuses on identifying behaviors that an individual is struggling with and helping them decrease behaviors that are hindering learning and living while teaching them more appropriate behaviors. Our scientific methods include continuously collecting data, analyzing that data, and using that analysis to make informed decisions for initial and continued treatment.
